POST-16 DRESS CODE 2016 – 2017
Clothes should be worn that are appropriate for a place of study and work. Smart casual clothes are appropriate for school.
School is a working environment and so strapless or shoulderless tops, short tops (which do not meet the waistband of trousers, jeans or skirts), short skirts, shorts, plunging necklines and vest tops are not appropriate. No extreme hairstyles or hair colour. Tattoos must not be visible.
All senior students play a valuable role as role models, and an appropriate dress code encourages younger pupils to assume high standards. Senior staff are the arbiters of what is acceptable. Students may be asked to leave site if they do not adhere to the dress code.
