Air Ambulance Fundraising

Post-16 student Astynn Riding has thanked the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) which came to the rescue of her stepdad after he was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.

Astynn has raised £200 by selling sweet-filled cones to family and friends in a show of appreciation to the charity. Her  mum said: “We are extremely proud of Astynn who wanted to give something back to the charity.”

More information about the work of the air ambulance service can be found here: GNAAS

Well done Astynn!
