Anti-Bullying Week 2016
Anti-Bullying Week 2016 is being held between 14th – 18th November with the theme ‘Power for Good’ and is organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance.
Anti-Bullying week is an excellent way to get involved, take a stand against bullying and raise awareness of this issue in school. It’s important to reflect that bullying doesn’t just affect children but adults too.
During assemblies, morning registration and Wednesday tutor time this week, AHS will be discussing anti-bullying and cyber-bullying topics with your child, and offering a range of strategies to effectively combat these issues should they ever occur.
You can download the top tips page (below) to see how you can help your son/daughter combat bullying; this includes a link to the Anti-Bullying Alliance parent toolkit.
You could also follow the other national anti-bullying events on social media by using #antibullyingweek and #powerforgood.
