Hall Hill farm visit

A group of our Year 8 students recently visited Hall Hill Farm in Lanchester, County Durham. During the visit they were taught about the farm as a business and how the farm diversifies to make additional money from their visitor attractions. Students held baby chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs, fed lambs and pygmy goats and had a tractor ride around the farm. They also met a national celebrity – the goat which was used in the Goat Simulator game made famous by Coffee Stain Studios! There was also time for a round of crazy golf. Our guide at Hall Hill Farm told us that our students were one of the best groups of children they have had at the farm for a long time: their behaviour was impeccable and they took every opportunity to get involved in the planned activities.
