Year 6 students from our feeder Primary Schools have spent a morning with us over the last couple of weeks as part of our 2017 transition programme.
They had the opportunity to meet the Principal, discuss their worries and what they are excited about by completing Year 6 student postcards. These are now being responded to by Year 7/8 AHS students and will be returned to the Year 6 students after the Easter Break.
Students also had a full tour of the school with school staff and members of our Student Council who attended their Primary School the previous year. During the tour, they took part in a treasure hunt quiz, where they discovered information about our ethos, alumni and school values.
Well done to all of our Primary schools, all Year 6 students’ behaviour and attitude to learning during the visits were exemplary.
